Narsingdi Covid-19 cases reach 1248

The total number of confirmed coronavirus or Covid-19 cases in Narsingdi has risen to 1,248 with eight new cases reported in the district.

Dr Ibrahim Titon, civil surgeon of the district, confirmed the information on Tuesday (June 23) morning.

Of those newly infected, seven were from Sadar upazila and one from Raipura upazila, the civil surgeon said.

Of those infected originally, 824 were from Sadar upazila, 101 from Palash upazila, 109 from Shibpur upazila, 86 from Raipura upazila, 60 from Monohardi upazila and 68 from Belabo upazila, he said.

A total of 27 patients have died from the deadly virus so far in the district.
