Noakhali reports 106 new Covid-19 cases

106 more coronavirus patients have been detected in Noakhali which is the highest number of infections reported in a day in the district.

With these new cases, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the district rose to 1,581.

Besides, one person has died of the deadly virus over the same period, raising the total death toll to 39 in the district.

Dr Masum Iftekhar, civil surgeon of the district, confirmed the matter on Thursday (June 18).
