One dies with coronavirus symptoms in Gopalgonj

A person has died with coronavirus or COVID-19 symptoms at Haridashpur village in Gopalgonj Sadar upazila.

Sadar upazila health official Dr Asaduzzaman Hawlader confirmed the person's death on Saturday (April 18) morning.

He said the person died early today after suffering from fever, cold and breathing complications for last seven days.

Samples from him and his family members have been collected, the health official said.

Following the death, his family members have been asked to remain in home quarantine, he added.
