One killed in AL factional clash in Joypurhat

Joypurhat Correspondent: A man was killed and nine other injured in a clash between two rival factions of the ruling Awami League in Kusumsara area under Kalai upazila in the district on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Samsuddin, son of Mochhir Uddin at Kusumsara village.

According to the police and villagers, the clash took place between the Minfuzur Rahman Milon and Shawkat Habib Talukder Logik groups at night at the ground of Kusumsara Govt Primary School over establishing dominance.

At least 10 people including Samsuddin injured in the clash.  He died around 10.30am on Saturday at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College while undergoing treatment.
