Over 50 people hurt in Brahmanbaria clash

Brahmanbaria Correspondent: At least 50 villagers including several policemen were injured during a clash between the people of Kalichcho and Nayagaon villages under Sarail upazila in the district.
The incident took place at around 11:15am that started among the residents of the villages on Sunday over trifling matter.
More than 10 to 12 houses were also set on fire during the clash. A motorcycle of private TV channel ‘Somoy Television’ was also vandalized.
Witnesses said Mujibar Rahmana, a local businessman of Surjakandi village, picked up an altercation with CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver Parves of Nayagaon when the latter denied giving side to Mujibur’s motorcycle at Kalichcho bazar.
