Parents of twin babies die in Habiganj

Parents of twin babies have died in a road accident at Shaestaganj in Habiganj. 

The deceased are Noman Mia, 25, son Abdul Motalib at Chanpur village under Nurpur union of the upazila, and his wife Jesmin Akhter, 22.

According to sources, Jesmin Akhter was ill, and she with her husband went to see a doctor at Shaestaganj. When they were returning home, a bus hit their auto rickshaw, leaving Noman Mia dead on the spot.

 Jesmin Akhter among three people were injured in the accident. She died on Thursday afternoon at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.

Confirming the news Nurpur Union Parishad Chairman Md Mukhlish Mia said Jesmin was buried around 10.00pm on Thursday.

Grandfather and grandmother of the two children are now looking after them.
