Police constable killed in road accident

A police constable named Nazrul Islam, 52, has been killed in a road accident in Rupsha of Khulna district.

The accident took place at around 8:00 am on Monday.

According to sources, a Mahindra and a motorcycle collied a head-on on Rupsha-Bagherhat old road at Devpur, leaving one dead on the spot.   An Amzad Kha is also injured in the accident.

The deceased Nazrul Islam was the son of late Yousuf Mollik  at Ilaipur village of Rupsha upazila.  He was the driver of the Fakirhat Police Station. 

Rupsha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Molla Zakir Hossen told risingbd that Nazrul was going to Fakirhat from Rupsha by motorcycle.
