Police to take action against councillorAminurRahman

The Police is going to take an action against ward councillorAminurRahman Amin, who recently beat people indiscriminately to ensure social distancing and lockdown in TangailPourashava area.

Sub Inspector MonirHossain has filed a general diary against him.

Tangail District Police Super Sanjit Kumar Roy confirmed the news over mobile phone.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) MosharrofHossain said Sub Inspector MonirHossain has filed the general diary against him and the investigation has begun.

Meanwhile, a legal notice has been sent to the government to take action against ward councillorAminurRahman Amin.

Supreme Court lawyer Advocate J R Khan Robin sent the legal notice to the Inspector general of Police, superintendent of police of Tangail and officer in charge of Tangail Model Police Station via email on Thursday.

A video which hit the social media on April 8, showed Aminur charging batons on people who were out wandering in the streets without proper reason in various areas of Tangail city.
