Rape accused killed in ‘gunfight’ in Ctg

A youth, who was accused in a rape case, has been killed in a ‘gunfight’ with police in Chattogram City Corporation. 

The gunfight took place in Shershah area of Bayazid Bostami Police Station early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Belal Dafadar, 22.

Assistant Commissioner of Bayazid Bostami zone Paritran Talukder confirmed the news.

Belal Dafadar was accused in a rape case and a listed terrorist and yaba trader, the police officer said.
