Risingbd stands beside elderly man Abdur Rashid

Country’s leading and popular online news portal risingbd has stood beside the elderly man, Abdur Rashid Howladar, by providing him with food materials, cash money and Eid gift.

risingbd recently published a story of the miserable life on Abdur Rashid Howladar  who lives with his family at Zinnahpara in Khulna city.

The story shook heart of the portal’s Advisory Editor and Executive Director of Walton Uday Hakim. He immediately issued instructions to provide food assistance to him.

It can be mentioned that Uday Hakim has already extended his helping hand towards many helpless people in the country after knowing about their family conditions during coronavirus pandemic.

On behalf of Uday Hakim, Khulna correspondent of risingbd Mohammad Nuruzzaman handed over the food materials and cash money to Abdur Rashid on Friday.

Vice-principal of Khulna Alia Kamil Madrasa Mufti Moulana Abdur Razzak and imam of Khulna District Education Complex mosque Hafej Mohammad Kamruzzaman were also present.

Vice-principal Mufti Moulana Abdur Razzak, newsman Shariful Islam Bani, head of an educational institution in Khulna Md Saiful Islam Momen and officer Md Badiuzzaman also helped the elderly man.

The food items include rice, pulses, oil, potato, sugar, soap, salt, onion, semai, milk and other essentials.

Abdur Rashid Howladar became emotional after getting food assistance.

Earlier, an elderly woman named Yeasmin Begum in Khulna got food assistance and gift from risingbd.
