Risingbd stands by 80-year-old woman to fight covid-19

Country’s popular news portal risingbd has come forward to help the people in hardship in the wake of a nationwide crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of this the organization stretched out its hand to 80-year-old poor woman named Yasmin Begum.

Following humanitarian issue, Uday Hakim, advisory editor of risingbd took an initiative to provide food assistance to the aged woman.

Muhammad Nuruzzaman, the staff reporter of the news portal visited the poor person in Dakkhin Tutpara of Khulna Metropolitan in Khulna district on Monday (May 4). On behalf of risingbd.com, he handed over daily essentials and food materials to Yasmin Begum.

Meanwhile, getting such aid, the woman became emotional. Food items include rice, pulses, oil, potatoes, salt, hand washing soap and others.

Earlier on Sunday, similarly a news presenter of a private television channel also came forward to help the 80-year-old woman.
