SSC student commits suicide as she fails

A female student has committed suicide after she failed in SSC examination in Sirajganj.

The incident took place Puthia village under Ullapara upazila on Sunday.

She was identified as Mafia Khatun, 16, daughter of Moinal Hossain of the village. She participated in SSC examination from Falia High School this year.

Ullapara Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Golam Mostafa confirmed the news.

Qouting Moinal Hossain, he said, “Mafia took her life by hanging after she came to know the result published on Sunday morning.”
