Satkhira Covid-19 cases rise to 112

Six new coronavirus or Covid-19 patients have been detected in last 24 hours in Satkhira, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 112.

Six people among the samples tested at the genome centre of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) have been found infected with coronavirus on Wednesday (June 24) noon.

Dr Jayanta Sarkar, medical officer of Satkhira civil surgeon office, confirmed the matter.

Of those newly infected, two were from Kalaroa upazila, two from Kaliganj upazila and two from Debhata upazila.
