Students of 7 DU affiliated colleges asked for 75% attendance

Authorities of Dhaka University (DU) issued instructions for students of its affiliated seven colleges to attend 75 percent of academic classes.

The instruction was issued to principals of the colleges on February 27.

According to a press released signed by the university’s exam controller Md Bahalul Haque Chowdhuty, all the students must attend 75 percent of total classes. The students will attend 60 to 74 percent class will be considered as non-collegiate. They must pay non-collegiate fees of Tk 1500.

The students to be found less than 60 percent of attendance will be considered as dis-collegiate. Dis-collegiate student will not be able to attend examination.
