Suspected terrorist held in Jhenaidah

Detectives in a special drive detained a suspected terrorist from Hajra village of Jhenaidah district early Monday.

The detainee is Minarul Islam, 35, son of Tofazzel Hossain of Baliadanga village under Kotchandpur upazila of the district.

The detectives have recovered one shutter gun and one round of bullet from his possession.

Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of the Detective Branch (DB) of police in Jhenaidah, confirmed the matter.
