Swadhin Bangla Football team member Md Lutfor Rahman died at the age of 69.
He breathed his last at 8:45 am on Monday (June 29) at his Loan Office Para residence in Jashore after suffering from paralysis for a long time.
The 69-year-old got paralysed after having a brain stroke towards the end of December in 2018. Since then, he had been at his residence and most of time he could not manage his treatment cost.
Following different media reports regarding him, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina donated Tk 35 lakh to Lutfor Rahman as financial assistance.
Lutfor Rahman left behind his wife, only son and only daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
