Tangail coronavirus cases rise to 109

13 more persons tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19 in Tangail, raising the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the district to 109.

Tangail Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Wahiduzzaman confirmed this to risingbd on Monday morning.

He said samples of 110 people were sent to Dhaka on May 20, of which 13 tested positive for coronavirus.

Among the new patients, six in Mirzapur upazila, three in Delduar  upazila, one in Nagarpur, one in Ghatail upazila, one in Madhupur and one in Basail upazila.
