Tanore UNO admitted to hospital with corona-like symptoms

Tanore Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sushanta Kumer Mahato got admitted to a hospital with symptoms similar to that of coronavirus or Covid-19.

He got admitted to the upazila health complex around 11 am on Wednesday (June 24).

Upazila health and family planning officer Dr Rojiara Khatun confirmed the matter.

The UNO got admitted to the upazila health complex with severe fever and is now receiving treatment at a special room of the health complex. His sample has been collected and sent it to the lab of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for Covid-19 tests, Rojiara Khatun said.

His wife and children are also suffering from fever, she added.
