Taslima going to get house after publishing news in risingbd

Taslima Begum of Gopalganj is going to get a house after country’s leading and popular online news portal risingbd.com published a report covering her.

risingbd published a story of the miserable life on Taslima Begum on June 11 whose house was damaged in a recent storm.

The story shook heart of UpazilaNirbahi Officer (UNO) of Kotalipara SM MahfujurRahman.

On Thursday evening, UNO SM MahfujurRahman along with Chairman of Hiron Union ParishadGolamKibriaDaria went to the house of Taslima Begum.

The UNO immediately issued instructions to give a new house in next time and repair the existing one from Friday (June 12). He also instructed to provide her with all kind of government facilities.

UNO SM MahfujurRahman said “Reading the story of Taslima Begum, I went to her house. I have given an instruction to give a new house in next time and repair the existing one. I have also instructed to provide her with all kind of government facilities”.

After the storm, a local organization named ‘GanerAloPathagar’ stood beside Taslima Begum and took an initiative to raise fund for her.

President of ‘GanerAloPathagar’ SushantoMondol said “Reading the news in risingbd, we went to the house of Taslima Begum and assured her of providing all kind of facilities. We also thank the risingbd for publishing the news”.
