Teen stabbed dead in Feni

A teenager has been stabbed to death by his friend over playing football at Sonagazi upazila in Feni district.

The deceased was identified as Ziaul Haq Shakil, 16, son of Nurul Haq at Sonagazi sadar union.

According to locals, Shakil and his friend Kishore Niloy locked into an altercation over playing football on Wednesday afternoon.

At evening, Kishore Niloy stabbed Shakil, leaving him critically injured.

Shakil was immediately taken to Sonagazi Upazila Health Complex and later he was shifted to Feni General Hospital.  Again Shakil was shifted to Chattrogram Medical College Hospital where he died at night.

OC of Sonagazi Model Thana Md Moin Uddin Ahmed said police is now conducting a drive to arrest Kishore Niloy.
