Telemedicine service launched for govt officials

Telemedicine service has been launched for government officials and employees for any kind of advice and treatment related to coronavirus.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.

According to the notification, Sarkari Karmachari Hospital has been turned into corona dedicated hospital to ensure Covid-19 treatment for government officials and employees. For this purpose, telemedicine service has been launched for government officials and employees in this hospital for any advice/medical service related to coronavirus.

A total of eight doctors will give telemedicine service.

From 8:00am to 10:00pm, the service will be provided by: Emergency medical officer Dr Md Hammad Ali Bhuiyan (01404430820); assistant surgeon Dr Nadia Ferdous (01404432502); junior consultant (gynecology) Dr Rummana Shaila Nur (01935038825) and medical officer Dr A K M Shahnawaz (01774003044)).

From 8:00am to 2:00pm, four expert physicians will provide the service. They are: junior consultant (medicine) Dr Md Shahidul Islam (01404430804); junior consultant (medicine) Dr Ishrat Jahan (01404430805); assistant professor (medicine) Dr Md Rakibul Islam Mollah (01404430822) and assistant professor (medicine) Dr Sheikh Shamsuzzaman (01404430823).
