Thakurgaon put under lockdown

Thakurgaon district has been locked down for an indefinite time to prevent the transmission of coronavirus or COVID-19 as three coronavirus patients have been detected in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Dr KM Kamruzzaman made the announcement in an emergency public notice on Saturday (April 11) night.

Emergency services will remain out of the purview of the lockdown, the notice said.

The lockdown will remain in force until further notice, it added.
