Three suspected robbers have been killed in a ‘gunfight’ with RAB members at Sitakunda in Chattogram.
The gunfight took place early Tuesday in Chhoto Kumaria area of the upazila.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Md Mahmudul Hasan Mamun, RAB-7 assistant director (media), said the gunfight took place between a patrol team of RAB and an inter-district robber gang.
Later, RAB members recovered three bodies from the spot and sent those to Chattogram Medical College Hospital morgue.
They also recovered two pistols, 12 rounds of bullet and some local weapons from the spot, he added.
