Trawler capsizes in Kutubdia

A trawler carrying 20-25 passengers capsized near Kutubdia area of Bay of Bengal on Wednesday.

Sources said that the trawler was heading towards Kutubdia Darbar Sharif from Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram. But, it capsized in the area this noon.

Chattogram Coastguard East Zone confirmed the matter but could not disclose the information regarding victims.

Rescue vessel was sent to the spot, Coastguard east zone media department said.
