Two Ghana nationals arrested with 7,000 Yaba tablets

Police arrested two nationals of African country “Ghana” along with 7,000 pieces of Yaba conducting a drive at Shah Amanat Bridge area of Baklia in Chattogram city early Saturday.

Police confirmed the news in the evening.

The arrestees were known as Mr San and Richard.

Nizam Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Baklia Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said, “Acting on tip off, they were arrested with the Yaba tablets conducting a drive in a Dhaka-bound bus from Cox’s Bazar.”

A case was filed in this connection, he added.
