Two die of coronavirus in Rajshahi

Two persons died of coronavirus while undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in last 24 hours.

RMCH deputy director Dr Saiful Ferdous confirmed the news on Saturday noon.

Of the dead, one was known as Dr Md Shahidullah (55), a resident of Padma residential area. He was confirmed of being coronavirus positive several days ago. Around 9:00am on Saturday, he breathed his last at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of RMCH.

The other was identified as Hafizur Rahman, 47, who hailed from Dogachhi village of Pabna sadar upazila. He is son of late Jonab Ali of the village. He was secretary of local union parishad. He passed away around 10:30ipm on Friday.
