Two electrocuted in Haluaghat

Two people inculing a woman died from electrocution in Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh on Monday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Jamina Khatun, 45, at Dhakkin Monikura village of the upazila. and Siddique Mia, 60.

Officer-in-Charge of Haluaghat Thana Mohammad Ali Mahmud confirmed the matter.

He said a live electric wire fell on in a pond water.  Jamina got electrocuted when he went the pond to wash legs.  Siddique also got electrocuted as he tried to save Jamina.
