Two electrocuted in Kurigram

Kurigram Correspondent: Two workers were electrocuted and another one injured in Krishnapur area in Kurigram town on Monday noon.

The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman, 42 and Abdul Khaleq, 48.

Locals said that Abdur Rahman and Abdul Khaleq came in contact with a live electric wire when they were cutting an Areca nut tree at the area this noon. Meanwhile, a housewife named Mariam tried to save and received injuries.

Kurigram Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahfuzur Rahman said police forces were sent to the spot.
