Two get death penalty in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Two people have been awarded with death penalty and three life-term imprisonment in a murder case.

Judge Arup Kumar Gosawmi of Kushtia District and Sessions Judge Court passed the order on Wednesday.

The death penalty convicts are Najmul, son of Ahad Ali at Ahmadpur village under Mirpur upazila, and Roni, son of Abul Kalam at Baromile under Bheramara upazila.

Who have been sentenced to life-term are Rabbi, Rafik and Suja.

According to the case statement, the convicts killed Sohag, son of Abbas Uddin at Kumargara in Kushtia Sadar upazila on October 11, 2012.
