Two get death penalty in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Two youths have been awarded with death penalty in a drug-related case in the district.

Eight people have also been acquitted from the cease.

Judge Arup Kumar Gosawmi of Kushtia District and Sessions Judge Court passed the order on Monday.

The death penalty convicts are Md Rubel, 21, son of Khejmot Mondol at Mohammadpur village under Doulatpur upazila, and Bhangon Mondol, 22, son of late Moslem Mondol of the village.

The case was filed on October 19 in 2017.
