Two killed in Jaypurhat road crash

Two people were killed and nine others injured when cattle-laden a human hauler overturned on Joypurhat-Bogura road on Tuesday.

The deceased were known as Abu Taleb, 55, hailed from Punat village of Kalai upazila in Jaypurhat and Razu Ahmed, 25, of Purba Durgapur village.

Joypurhat Sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Shahriar Khan said, the accident took place around 11:00am when the human hauler turned turtle, leaving 11 people injured.

Later, the injured were sent to hospital where the two people died under treatment.
