Two labourers killed in Sirajganj road accident

Two labourers were killed and two other were injured as a truck hit another truck at Salanga in Sirajganj on Wednesday morning.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hatikumrul Highway Thana Nurunnabi Prodhan confirmed the matter.

The deceased were identified as Kaisar, 20, son of Dabir Uddin at Raghunathpur village under Salanga Thana, and Sanowar Hossain, 19, son of Yunus Ali of the village.

The injured are Yeakub and Sanowar who have been admitted to a local hospital.

According to OC, a stone-laden truck hit a brick-laden truck from the backside around 9.30am, leaving the casualties.

Police seized the trucks but two drivers and two helpers managed to flee from the spot.

The two dead bodies have been sent to Sirajganj General Hospitals.
