Two motorcyclists killed in Munshiganj road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway at Alipura of Gazaria upazila in Munshiganj district on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Zakir Hossain, 25, son of Mostafa at Ichhapura village under Haziganj upazila of Chandpur district, and Miraz, 18, son of Abdul Mannan of the same village.
According to sources, a motorcycle skidded off the road after hitting a road island around 7.30am, leaving Zakir dead on the spot and Miraz critically injured.
Later, Miraz died on way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
