UD case filed over Brahmanbaria train crash

An unnatural death case has been filed over the train crash occurred at Mandabag Railway Station of Kasba upazila in Brahmanbaria.

Station Master Zaker Hossain filed the case with Akhaura Railway Police Station on Tuesday night.

Akhaura GRP station’s officer-in-charge (OC) Shyamal Kanti Das confirmed the news.

A Dhaka-bound train Turna Nishita Express from Chattogram coming from the opposite direction rammed a Chattogram-bound train from Sylhet -- Udayan Express early Tuesday, leaving 16 killed and dozens injured.
