Unknown man crushed under train

An unknown man has been crushed under the wheels of a train at Kalihati in Tangail district.

The accident took place at Shalla of the upazila on Sunday morning.

Witnesses said that local people noticed the body around 7.30 am on the railway crossing of the east side of Shalla bus stand. They immediately informed the police of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station Kazi Ayubur Rahman told risingbd, “It is suspected that the man has been crushed under Sundarban Express train early morning. We didn’t find his identity. We informed the railway police and they will take the body.’’
