Youth dies with coronavirus symptoms in Gopalganj

A youth suffering from fever, cold and breathing complications has died in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj.

He passed away at Kotalipara upazila health complex early Tuesday (April 21).

Dr Sushanta Boidyo, health and family planning official of Kotalipara upazila health complex, confirmed the matter to risingbd.

Dr Sushanta said samples from the youth were collected and later sent those to Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) for tests.

His family members have been asked to remain in home quarantine, he added.

Gopalganj Civil Surgeon Niaz Mohammad said prior to this, five people died with coronavirus symptoms in different upazilas of the district.
