Youth shot dead: Minister’s gunman arrested

Police have arrested Kishore Kumar, gunman of Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, for shooting a youth to death and another seriously injured.

He was arrested from Ashulia around 1:45pm on Friday.

Alamgir Hossain Mazumder, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kaliakoir Police Station, confirmed the news.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of police Kishore Kumar is known as son of Narayan Kumar of Kutubdia area of Kaliakoir.

Mentionable, Kishore Kumar shot his two friends, leaving Shaheed, 30, dead on the spot and Mohim, 32, injured at Kutubdia in Kaliakoir upazila of Gazipur early Friday.

Shaheed is son of Sabur Uddin of Ajgana village under Mirzapur of Tangail while Moin is son of Abdul Majed of the same area.
