Youth shot dead in Jessore

Staff Correspondent: A young man was shot dead by miscreants in Ayarpur village under Bagherpara Upazila of the district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Sabbir Hossain, 29, son of Saidul Islam, hailed from Khalilpur village.
Bagherpur police station SI Niamul said that there was gunfight between two groups of drug peddlers. Later, locals called police and police recovered the youth from the spot.
Earlier, on Sunday night, police arrested the victim Sabbir from his home. But, he fled from police custody, the SI said.
