Youth with coronavirus symptoms admitted to Satkhira hospital

A total of 99 people, who returned home from abroad recently, were sent to home quarantine in last 24 hours in Satkhira district.

With this, a total of 2642 overseas returnees remained in home quarantine so far in the district.

Besides, one youth with coronavirus symptoms has been admitted to the isolation unit of Satkhira Medical College Hospital.

Confirming the matter, Supervisor of Satkhira Medical College Hospital Dr. Rafiqul Islam said the youth, hailing from Moutala village of Kaliganj upazila, has been admitted to the hospital with fever and respiratory problem. The youth is also suffering from asthma and diabetics problem. His sample will be sent to the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), he added.
