Prof. Dr. Sheikh Mamun Khaled CUB’s pro-VC

Former Lieutenant-General of the Bangladesh Army, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Mamun Khaled, Ph.D. has joined the Canadian University of Bangladesh as Pro-Vice-Chancellor.

In his colorful career, he has previously served various important positions in the Bangladesh Army, including the Commandant of Bangladesh National Defense College. Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun Khaled successfully served as the Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) from 2013 to 2017, Canadian University of Bangladesh’s public relations office has confirmed the news.

Prof. Dr. Mamun Khaled became the first person to complete a Ph.D. and received the prestigious ‘Chancellor's Gold Medal’ from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).

His second Ph.D. degree in 2020 from Jahangirnagar University on Visionary Leadership. Mr. Khaled also received the prestigious ‘Chancellor's Gold Medal’ for outstanding achievements in MBA.

The former Lieutenant General holds five master's degrees, including three MBA degrees from world-renowned institutions, one of which is Kings College London.

He is currently studying for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Disruptive Leadership from Teesside University, United Kingdom.
