The ‘D’ unit admission test online application process for the first-year honours courses under 2020-21 academic session of theology and Islamic studies faculty of Islamic University in Kushtia will begin on October 7.

The admission seekers will be able to fill-up the admission form paying Tk 850 till October 17, said a source at IU registrar office on Sunday.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the university's central admission test committee with IU vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam in the chair.

The admission test will be held on November 2 combining 80 marks. A total of 60 marks are for MCQ test and 20 others for written test, said IU acting registrar M Ataur Rahman.

The university, however, will not hold any admission test for other faculties as it is one of the 20 public universities that agreed to the centralised uniform admission tests under the University Grants Commission, he said.

According to the admission test process, the candidates will contest for a total of 240 seats of Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department, Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department and Da’wah and Islamic Studies department of the university. 25% marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the MCQ test.
