We, the cadets and the group of students, nurture gallantry,
Our college is at Jhenidah and we are radiant with glory.
At the wavy light of colourful dawn we are advancing,
We will dispel bustle and sorrows, songs of power singing,
We have entered into a pledge to serve the country,

We are the freedom seeking youth and obey discipline,
We will hurl attacks on foes facing struggle in battle-line,

We have brightened the path by lighting the lamp of red and green,
We are learning in this college a useful amount of knowledge-ken,

Jhenidah in Bangladesh is a place of verdure lush green we find,

Gazi Abdulla-hel Baqui originally composed the above song in Bangla in 1980 as he was asked by Lt. Col. Ashrafuzzaman, the then Principal of Jhenidah Cadet College. The poet used to serve JCC as lecturer in English at that time.

Dr. Gazi Abdulla-hel Baqui is a poet, writer, translator, researcher and university professor.  He  has already authored twenty eight books.
