Barishal-Dhaka launch services stopped

Transportation through Barishal-Dhaka and other routes has been stalled as the cyclone Midhili is approaching the coastal areas.
Abdur Razzak, deputy director of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) confirmed the matter on Friday (November 17).
He said all types of launch movement of domestic and long-distance routes have been declared closed in Bhola, Barishal River Port.
On the other hand, The maritime ports of Mongla and Payra were advised to hoist danger signal No 7 while Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar danger signal No 6.
