Two bodies wash ashore in Cox`s Bazar

Police recovered two bodies of an unidentified man and woman washed ashore in Cox’s Bazar Sea beach on Sunday morning (December 3).

The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Additional DIG Apel Mahmud, Chief of Tourist police Cox’s Bazar region said lifeguard members rescued the persons around 10:30 am and sent them to hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.

He also said that the bodies were kept at Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue. Investigation is underway in this regard.
