Shakib Al Hasan’s nomination declared valid

The nomination of Awami League-backed candidate also Bangladesh National Cricket team player Shakib Al Hasan for the Magura-1 constituency, has been declared valid.

Returning Officer also Deputy Commissioner Beg Mohammed Abu Naser, made the announcement on Monday noon (December 4).

In Magura-1 seat, a total of seven aspirants including Shakib Al Hasan submitted their nomination papers. Of them, the nominations of candidates were declared valid.

Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan, star cricketer and Awami League-nominated candidate for Magura-1 constituency, submitted his nomination paper on Thursday (30 November).
