Cocktail blast at BNP`s procession in Kushtia

A cocktail explosion took place at a procession of Swechasebak Dal, an affiliate of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Ektara intersection of Kushtia district town on Monday (December 4).

The incident took place around 7:30pm.

Kushtia Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Sohel Rana confirmed the matter.

He said that Swechasebak Dal brought out a torch-procession on Monday evening. Meanwhile, a cocktail was exploded from the procession. A case will be filed in this regard.
