Bus-microbus collision kills trader in Gopalganj

A businessman was killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a microbus on Dhaka-Khulna highway on Thursday night (December 7).

The deceased was known as Mostafa Kamal, 55, son of Kadam Ali, hailed from Barishal.

Police said the trader was going to Barishal along with his family members by a microbus around 10:30 pm. Meanwhile, a Dhaka-bound passenger bus hit it in the Dumdia area, leaving Mostafa Kamal dead on the spot and his wife and his two daughters injured critically.

Gopalganj Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter.
