5 youths arrested with fire arms in Pabna

Police arrested five youths along with a firearm and bullets at Pabna district town on Sunday (February 25).

The arrestees are – Afnan Ahmed Abir, son of Imran Hossain, Istiaq Jaman Nur, son of Nuruzzaman, Mizanur Rahman Naim, son of Moniruzzaman, Abu Hurayra Jony, son of Moazzem Hossain, Rafsan Abir, son of late Amirul Islam.

Pabna Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rawshan Ali confirmed the matter on Monday noon (February 26).

OC Rawshan Ali said that acting on a secret information, police conducted a drive in Banglabazar polyethene intersection area on Sunday night and arrested them. Meanwhile, a foreign-made revolver, two rounds of bullets, an axe, two knives were recovered from them.
