Bhasan Char fire: Another victim dies, death toll now 4

The death toll from a cylinder gas fire at the Ashrayan housing project for refugees on Bhasan Char Island in Noakhali has increased to four.

The deceased was known as Md Sohel, 5, son of Azizul Haque.

Hospital sources said that a gas cylinder exploded at a house in Bhashan Char in Noakhali on Saturday evening (February 24). A total of seven people including five children received burn injuries due to the explosion.

Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost ASI Nurul Alam Ashek confirmed the matter.
