Water transport workers go into work abstention from March 4

Water transport workers will go into a work abstention for an indefinite period from March 4 to press home their 11-point demand.

The workers demonstrated in Mongla municipality of Bagergat on Friday and announced the program. 

Bangladesh Noujan Sramik Federation President Md. Shah Alam Bhuiyan, Vice President Md Baharul Islam Bahar and General Secretary Ashikul Alam Patal were present, among others.  

Workers will suspend plying of all water transports including good carriers from Monday midnight.
